Applying the Models

Resident Advisors and residence commonly face ethical dilemmas while living in close quarters. It is very common for strong bonds to develop between RA’s and residents. On the other hand, it is also very common for situations to arise where the RA needs to take authority over a resident/friend in a potentially dangerous situation, like alcohol abuse. It is never easy to rise above an ethical dilemma and it takes strong character and developed ethical reasoning skills to do the right thing.
